Today I completed my website. I could not find an application form and so have not been able to add one to my website although I have found and uploaded a prospectus which I think would be very useful to people although for some reason the text has disapeared

Today I continued working on my website. I created different pages for courses, images, contact information etc. I have also collected different images from the internet for different courses at this school and current and past students. I am currently looking for an application form so I can add it to my page as a printout.

Today I completed editing my television advert. I also had to restart my website as the site I was doing it on stopped working. I considered using freewebs.com but then decided to use 350.com as it seemed to be a lot simpler to use than anything else.

Today I finished filming my television advert and began editing. I have gotten quite far in the editing but I still need to make a few small changes. Whilst editing I found that I hadn't captured enough footage to make a long enough advert so I have also used footage from an enrichment task I did earlier on in the year, which was also to make an advertisement for this sixth form.

Today I started filming my television advert after changing my script and storyboard completely. I am now planning to make my television advert a lot more upbeat than my original idea and am using less dialogue and more music.

Today I planned out my television advert. I set out a script and a story board although I am still adding a few final touches as I am still not completely happy with what I have decided on. Next lesson I plan to look through this work more thoroughly and make any appropriate changes.

Today I completed my final poster although I did make a last minute change to the design. I glued down all of the images I collected and decided that the photos I took myself were too unclear and made the poster look slightly childish so I took them off and have only used the images I got from the internet.

Today I continued working on my final poster. I have printed off photos from the internet to use on my poster and have taken some photographs myself which I will also be using on my poster. I have began sticking my photos down but have not yet finished it completely.

Today I have continued working on my website, planning my pages and looking for images and videos to add which will promote the college. I have also began looking for internet software which I can use to create my interactive game.

Today I received feedback regarding my poster and how I could improve it. I have decided how I can change it to make it better and will make those changes in the near future.

Today after completing the final draft of my poster I have started to draw up my final piece. I have also began working on my webpage. I have decided which website I will use to make this which will be www.yola.com as it seems to be relatively easy to use and is free.

Today I continued working on my final drafts. I have chosen my best ideas and the aspects of my other drafts which will be effective in attracting my target audience and making them consider attending Kings Norton sixth form.

Today I photocopied my poster drafts and decided what information I am going to add to make it look for effective. I have also began planning my final drafts.

Today I continued working on my final drafts although I focused mainly on my poster as I have found that by focusing on one product at a time I complete my work quicker and more efficiently. I have used lots of colour and text on my poster and have tried to make it as fun looking as possible without making too childish.

Monday 20th April

Today I did my project proposal which on Wednesday I will present to Mr Newman. I have also began working on my final drafts for my poster and website. My next step will be to start working on the final draft of my television advert script and storyboard.

Today I completed my questionnaire. I then photocopied another twenty copies as I think this would be an acceptable amount of surveys to give out in order to give myself the right idea of what type of advertising techniques my target audience would be drawn into. I have began distributing these amongst some students in my class.

Monday 16th March

Today I continued working on my questionnaire. I am aiming to give my completed survey out to year eleven students of different genders, my classmates and maybe some students from year ten as these are the people most likely to share the same views and be attracted by the same aspects.

Today I printed out my questionnaire and distributed some out to my classmates. I will also give them out to younger years, particularly year elevens. I am also planning a focus group which will also give me an insight to what would attract my target audience to my different advertisements.

Friday 13th March

Today I began working on my audience research questionnaire. I will ask questions regarding which advertisement they find most effective and why? This will help me to make sure that each of my product will be effective and attract the correct audience.

Wednesday 4th March

Today I continued and completed my history of advertising research and also researched different types of advertisement and ASA, BARB and PCC. This is very helpful to me as it allows me to see what is and is not acceptable content in advertisement and how complaints and viewers are documented.

Monday 2nd March

Today I began my research on advertising. I also had my first meeting with my client Mr. Newman I asked him several questions about the project and what he wanted me to do specifically I found the meeting very helpful.

Today we had to make a template with the questions which the client would be answering and then we had a group meeting with our client who told us what he wanted us to do and how he wants us to do it. We have to create a multimedia project attracting year eleven students from different school to come to our sixth form. We then began research on how other colleges promote themselves and made notes.

23rd February

Today we began the commission module and decided on our company names. Mine is Awesomest productions. We learnt that commission is when a specific assignment or task is given to a person or company that is completed for a fee.
